A few red flags here: the urgent tone, the link that doesn't go to amazon.com, and the generic greeting. If you're worried about your Amazon account, go to amazon.com directly or call them using the number on their website—don't use this link.

Peace of mind for you. Safety for them.

Set it up once for your parent. We handle the rest.

Questions

Does my parent need to install an app?

No. It's just a phone number they text. You save it in their phone as a contact, and they forward suspicious messages to it.

Will it tell them if something is safe?

We never say "safe" or "scam" definitively. We point out red flags and suggest they verify directly with the company. This keeps them in control.

What if they have a flip phone?

As long as they can send and receive text messages, it works.

How fast is the response?

Usually within 10-15 seconds. Fast enough that they don't have time to click a bad link first.

Can I see what texts they're checking?

Not currently—we keep their messages private. We may add optional family alerts in the future.

What about phone call scams?

We focus on text messages for now. For calls, teach them: "If they want money or gift cards, it's a scam. Hang up and call me."
